For the first time, Andover families will be able to swim, take lessons, and train at Phillips Academy's state-of-the-art pool through a new community aquatics program launching Monday, July 27.

The five-week Andover Aquatics program runs through Aug. 29 and welcomes swimmers of all ages and skill levels. Registration is now open.

The new program offers something for nearly everyone, including swim lessons, diving instruction, competitive swim training, recreational swim programs, and lifeguard certification courses.

"I'm excited for the opportunity to grow aquatics at Phillips Academy and create new programs that bring our community together," Aquatics Director Jimmy Stallings said.

For many residents, it's a rare chance to use one of the region's premier swimming facilities. Located inside the Pan Athletic Center on the Phillips Academy campus, the Christopher G. Lynn '66 Pool features eight competition lanes, diving boards, a water polo course, electronic timing equipment, and seating for more than 300 spectators. The facility earned regional design awards after opening in 2023.

Phillips Academy says the goal is to make the pool a resource not just for students, but for the broader Andover community.
