Stevens Memorial Library in North Andover is packing the last week of July with free hands-on programs for kids, tweens, and teens, giving families six chances to drop in or sign up before August.

The library posted the new sessions Friday, July 24, covering Monday, July 27, through Thursday, July 30. All programs take place at the library, 345 Main St., North Andover.

Monday, July 27

Books & Babies runs from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The infant lapsit program offers early literacy through interactive songs, movement, and fingerplay for caregivers and children from birth to 18 months. Babies and adults get time to play and socialize afterward. Siblings are welcome. Weekly sign-up is required.

Tween Hangout: Pokémon Terrariums runs from 3 to 4 p.m. for students entering grades 4–8. The Monday series features a different activity each week. Registration is required.

Tuesday, July 28

Girls in STEM: Spaghetti Skyscrapers runs from noon to 2 p.m. for students in grades 2–5. Participants will learn about achievements of women in science, technology, engineering, and math, then tackle a hands-on building challenge. The program focuses on girls in STEM, but everyone is welcome. Registration is required and spots are limited.

Pollinator Bingo runs from 2 to 3 p.m. for ages 4 and up. Bingo cards feature examples of pollinators and what they need to help crops and flowers grow. Prizes go to winners. No registration required.

Wednesday, July 29

Flower Arranging runs from 6 to 7 p.m. for students entering grades 6–12. Participants will create a beginner-friendly floral arrangement to take home. Registration is required.

Thursday, July 30

Teen Crafternoon: Perler Bead Cactus Plants runs from 2 to 3 p.m. for students entering grades 6–12. The weekly series offers a new make-and-take craft each session. Registration is required.
