Leader Bank has opened a full-service branch at 2 Elm Square in downtown Andover, offering personal and business banking, residential lending and commercial financing.
The Arlington-based bank celebrated the location Tuesday, Oct. 6, with a ribbon-cutting, tours and a reception attended by clients and community members, Patch reported.
President Jay Tuli said the expansion brings the bank’s emphasis on personal service to more Merrimack Valley customers.
“Opening our doors in Andover allows us to bring that philosophy to more individuals, families, and businesses throughout the Merrimack Valley,” Tuli said in the announcement quoted by Patch.
The branch adds walk-in banking services alongside Leader Bank’s existing Lawrence loan office. According to the bank’s locations directory, that office operates by appointment at 130 Parker St., Suite 34.
Leader Bank also supports several Andover-area organizations and events, including the Andover Farmers Market, Merrimack Valley YMCA, Andover Town Day and the Feaster Five road race, according to Patch.
The Andover branch is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Customers can reach the branch at 978-338-6332.
