Thirty-one local artists will display original work inside 25 downtown Andover shops and restaurants starting Saturday, Oct. 3. The fourth annual ARTful Andover Art Walk runs through Oct. 31.

The kickoff runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Park, 34 Bartlet St., alongside the Andover Farmers Market. Ann Ormond, the town's director of business, arts and cultural development, announced the lineup on Instagram Sept. 29, describing the event as 35 artists at 25 locations. The town's event calendar lists 31 named artist-venue pairings; some venues host two artists.

Each participating business will hang or display an artist's work for the full month, so residents can browse original artwork while grabbing coffee, picking up groceries or shopping. The pairings range from Joan Ellis at Andover Bookstore and Patti Fielding at Elm Square Oyster Co. to Naomi Torres-Ortiz at Monica's Mithai Café and Caoin Springer O'Durgy at JP Licks.

Other stops include Dovetail Apothecary, JMcLaughlin, Sweet Mimi's Candy & Chocolate, fiVO Studios, Andover Classic Wines, Royal Jewelers and The Savings Bank Andover. A full list is posted on the town calendar page.

The Andover Cultural Council backed the event in January, voting 3-0 to appropriate $1,000 from its FY26 budget as a council project, according to meeting minutes. One member recused.

Saturday's kickoff shares The Park with RevFest 250, the town's America 250 celebration, which begins at 11 a.m. That event is hosted by the Andover Celebrates America 250 Committee and co-sponsored by the Andover Center for History & Culture.

RevFest features Revolutionary War reenactors, a Colonial Artisan Fair, food trucks and a free concert by Them Apples. A first-ever drone show with 300 synchronized drones is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Both events share The Park on Bartlet Street, giving visitors two reasons to head downtown Oct. 3. Art Walk visitors who arrive at 9 a.m. can meet artists before RevFest programming starts two hours later.
