Downtown Andover's annual Trick or Treat returns Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
The event is listed on the Town of Andover's community events calendar with a location of Downtown Andover. Ann Ormond, the town's Director of Business, Arts and Cultural Development, is listed as the event contact.
The town described the Downtown Trick or Treat as an annual tradition when it promoted the 2025 edition, which ran at the same 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. time window. The town has not released a list of participating businesses or specified which blocks will take part in the 2026 event.
Families looking to fill out their October calendar will find the Trick or Treat is one of several Halloween-season events the town has scheduled.

Witches Night Out takes over Downtown Andover on Thursday, Oct. 8, from 5 to 8 p.m. The three-hour evening event is also organized through the town, with Ormond listed as the contact on the community calendar. No additional details about the evening's activities had been posted.
Too Cute to Spook, aimed at children ages 5 and under, runs Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Andover Recreation at Old Shawsheen, 18 Magnolia Ave. Children are encouraged to come in costume for games, art projects and a costume parade, according to the town's fall recreation guide. The program costs $10 per child and is capped at 50 spots. Pre-registration is required.
Official neighborhood trick-or-treating hours for Saturday, Oct. 31 had not been announced when the town posted its fall calendar. In 2024, the town set neighborhood hours from 5 to 7 p.m. on Halloween night.
