Bella Keogh scored two unassisted goals Sunday, Aug. 23, to become Merrimack College's all-time Division I women's soccer leading goal scorer.

Keogh entered the road game at UMass Lowell tied with the program record at 20 career goals. She broke through in the 12th minute, finding the net at the 11:21 mark to claim goal No. 21 and pass Ella Cormier's record of 20. Cormier, a 2025 graduate, had held the mark since last season.

Keogh wasn't done.

She struck again at 49:37, less than five minutes into the second half, to push her career total to 22. Both goals were unassisted.

The Beacon, Merrimack's student newspaper, first reported the milestone. Sports editor Liam MacKenzie noted that Keogh now stands alone atop the program's Division I career scoring list with the remainder of the 2026 season still ahead to add to that total.

The record fell in just the third game of the year for Merrimack, which opened Aug. 12 at Vermont and hosted Northeastern on Aug. 16 before traveling to Lowell. The quick climb underscores how dominant Keogh has been since arriving on campus in North Andover, where the team plays home games at Martone-Mejail Field.

According to the official athletics schedule, Merrimack heads to the University of Maine on Thursday, Aug. 27, for a 7 p.m. start. The team returns home to host Bryant University on Sunday, Aug. 30, at 1 p.m. at Martone-Mejail Field.
